Terms of Service

1. Who we are and what this is

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are the agreement between you and [company name] ([registration number], [registered address]; “we”) about the Znimai app for macOS, the Znimai Cloud service and the znimai.com.ua website (together, the “Service”).

By installing the app, creating an account or using the website you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

This version is effective from October 21, 2026.

2. What the Service is

• The app takes screenshots and screen recordings, GIFs, annotations, scrolling captures and recognises text. Capturing, recording and editing are free and need no account.
• Znimai Cloud stores uploaded files and gives you links to them. The free plan has a storage limit; the Pro and Team plans add storage, custom domains, password links and team billing — see Pricing.
• We may change, add or discontinue features. For material changes to paid features we give at least 14 days’ notice.

3. Your account

• An account may be created by an adult (18+) or by someone authorised to act for a company.
• You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your password and two-factor codes safe. Report unauthorised access to [[security e-mail]](mailto:[security e-mail]).
• One account, one person; accounts can’t be transferred. Teams use the Team plan.

4. Your content and links

Everything you upload (“Content”) stays yours. You grant us only the licence needed to store the Content, show it at your links and make previews — nothing else. We don’t use your Content for advertising or for training models.

You warrant that you have the right to upload the Content and that it doesn’t break the law or others’ rights. You may not upload:

• material that infringes copyright or privacy, or contains other people’s personal data without a basis;
• malware, phishing or fraud;
• sexual content involving minors, incitement to violence, harassment.

A link works for anyone who has it (unless you set a password or make the file private). We may remove Content that breaks these Terms, with notice to you where appropriate. Reports about content go to [[abuse e-mail]](mailto:[abuse e-mail]).

5. Plans, payment and refunds

• Prices are on the Pricing page in US dollars, taxes excluded; you pay monthly or yearly in advance, and the subscription renews automatically until you cancel it under Account → Plan.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period; paid features stay on until then.
• Refunds: within 14 days of your first payment we refund it in full on request to [[contact e-mail]](mailto:[contact e-mail]). After that there are no partial refunds, except where the law requires one.
• If a payment fails we tell you and give you 7 days to update the payment method; then the account moves to the free plan and files over its limit become unavailable until you free up space or renew.

6. What you may not do

• circumvent plan limits, quotas or technical protections;
• scan, overload or disrupt the Service, other accounts or the infrastructure;
• use the Service to send spam or as free hosting for websites;
• resell access to the Service without our written consent.

7. Termination

You can delete your account at any time under Account → Delete account; files and data are deleted within 30 days. We may suspend or close an account for breaching these Terms, on a lawful demand, or when it puts the Service or other users at risk — where possible with notice and a chance to take your files (Account → Export).

8. Warranties and liability

The Service is provided “as is”. The full wording is in the Disclaimer: what we don’t guarantee, and that our total liability is capped at what you paid in the 6 months before the event. These limits don’t reduce rights that can’t be waived by law.

9. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes we notify you by e-mail or in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new version.

10. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. Disputes are settled by negotiation first, and otherwise by the courts at our registered seat, unless mandatory rules provide otherwise.
