Yes. The Mac app and every capture tool are free. A free Cloud account includes 5 GB of storage; Pro and Team add 1 TB, custom domains and privacy controls.
Znimai runs on macOS 15 Sequoia or later, on Apple silicon and Intel Macs.
Znimai Cloud is a small Node.js server with a SQLite database. Run it on your own machine or server, point a domain at it, and the app uploads there.
The app checks for updates every hour, downloads them in the background and shows a badge on the menu bar icon — one click to install & relaunch.
No. An account is only needed for cloud uploads and share links. Everything else works offline.
